Zitro’s Manuela Jiménez named 'Woman of the Year' at European Casino Awards

Manuela Jiménez, Vice President of Zitro, has been named “Woman of the Year” at the European Casino Awards, in recognition of her more than 50 years of contributions to the gaming industry.

The award underscores Jiménez’s influence in Spain’s gaming sector, where her career has been most prominent, as well as her pivotal role in positioning Zitro as a leading global supplier. Her experience and leadership have been credited with transforming domestic success into a foundation for the company’s international growth.

Zitro appoints Michael Bauer as CEO of Zitro Digital unit

Earlier this month, Zitro appointed Michael Bauer as Chief Executive Officer of its digital division, aiming to strengthen its position in the expanding online gambling market. Bauer brings over a decade of senior leadership experience in online gaming, having built and scaled digital operations across multiple regulated jurisdictions.

In his new role, he will oversee strategy and operations at Zitro Digital, with a focus on driving product development, boosting revenue growth, and expanding the company’s international footprint.
