Nevada gaming win hits $1.34 billion in November, Strip posts modest gains

Gaming revenue in Nevada continued to edge higher through the first 11 months of 2025, with statewide takings up 1.5% and the Las Vegas Strip recording a modest increase despite softer visitation, according to data released by the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB). 

The Strip’s gaming revenue rose nearly 1% year to date, even as November results showed a slight decline. All major Nevada gaming markets reported year-to-date growth except North Shore Lake Tahoe, where revenue fell 7.7%, the regulator said. The board’s final report for December is due in the last week of January.

Statewide gaming win totaled $1.348 billion in November, up 2.4% from a year earlier. For the fiscal year running from July through November, gaming revenue increased 2.83%. Percentage fees collected in December, based on November’s taxable revenue, fell 5.37% to $82.5 million, though fiscal year-to-date collections rose 4.89% to $513.3 million.

Slots continued to underpin growth across the state. Slot win climbed 7.7% in November to $873.3 million, while coin-in rose 3.6% to $12.8 billion. By contrast, table games win declined 6.2% to $474.6 million, with baccarat win down 6% despite an 8.6% increase in wagering volume. Overall table game hold slipped to 13.9% from 15.1% a year earlier.

Sports betting also recorded gains. Nevada sportsbooks won $72.9 million in November, up 7.9% year on year, on wagers totaling $908.1 million. Mobile betting accounted for 72.1% of all wagers, with mobile handle rising 11.8%.

On the Las Vegas Strip, November gaming win slipped 0.6% to $784.3 million, though year-to-date revenue was up 0.7%. Slot win increased 5.5% to $421.6 million, offsetting declines in table games and baccarat win. Baccarat volume on the Strip rose 9.2% even as hold weakened.

Downtown Las Vegas posted one of the strongest monthly performances, with total win up 10.3% to $87.2 million. Slot win surged 15%, while game and table revenue increased 3.3%. Other Clark County markets also saw solid gains, including the Boulder Strip, where revenue jumped 20%, and Laughlin, up 11.61%.

In northern Nevada, Washoe County gaming win rose 6.4% in November to $80.9 million, led by Reno, where revenue increased 7.1%. Elko County posted a 5.3% increase, while Sparks and South Lake Tahoe recorded modest declines.
