The close of 2025 finds MelBet Partners & Affiliates following a year defined by market growth, high-profile partnerships, and continued platform development across multiple regions. The company advanced its presence in emerging markets while continuing to invest in technology, localization, and affiliate tools designed to support long-term partner activity.

In an exclusive year-end interview with Yogonet, Anastasiia Shcherbyna, CMO of MelBet Partners & Affiliates, shares her assessment of the past 12 months, outlines the issues that guided industry discussion during the year, and discusses the company’s priorities and expectations moving into 2026.

Looking back at 2025, how would you assess the year for the company? What are some of the major takeaways, highlights, achievements, or lessons learned over the past year?

2025 has been a year of transformation, growth, and strengthened positioning for MelBet Partners & Affiliates. We expanded our presence to 45+ active GEOs and surpassed 100 million registered players.

Partnerships with global sports stars such as Andrés Iniesta, Kamaru Usman, and Mohamed Zidan, as well as the two-year renewal of our partnership with Juventus FC and the newly signed collaboration with Saint Lucia Kings, have significantly boosted brand awareness and reinforced our position in key markets.

From a technological perspective, we upgraded our affiliate platform, enhancing real-time analytics, transparency, and personalization.

The main lesson of 2025 is clear: adaptability is the key to success. In today’s iGaming landscape, those who thrive are not the ones who react to change, but the ones who anticipate it.

Which issues and trends would you say dominated the conversation this year? Are there specific trends, markets, or technologies that you believe will drive change in 2026?

This year, three key directions have defined the industry agenda:

  • Localization and personalization. Users increasingly choose brands that communicate in their language and reflect their cultural context.
  • AI-driven marketing and automation. Artificial intelligence is no longer a buzzword – it has become the foundation for traffic analysis and conversion optimization.
  • Regulation and transparency. The industry is maturing rapidly, and sustainable growth is impossible without a responsible approach and compliance with local jurisdictions.

For MelBet, these directions have become part of our strategic approach – combining local expertise with global scale.

Without a doubt, we see strong growth potential in Africa, MENA, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. These emerging regions continue to show rapid expansion and a high level of user engagement.

From a technological standpoint, AI and predictive analytics will become the foundation of next-generation marketing, enabling us not just to track user behavior but to anticipate it.

We also expect increased interest in Web3 and gamified loyalty programs, as players increasingly want to be part of the experience rather than passive observers.

What can we expect from MelBet in 2026? What are the main challenges and opportunities you see in the gaming industry in the coming 12 months?

2026 will be a year of refinement and innovation for MelBet. We will continue investing in:

  • enhancing the user experience (UX)
  • expanding our affiliate network
  • strengthening local representation in key markets

The main challenges for the industry – increasing regulation and growing competition – also create new opportunities. We are focusing on trust, transparency, and technological leadership, providing partners with tools that help them scale faster.

MelBet Partners & Affiliates has long been more than just a program – it is an ecosystem for partner growth.

2025 marked a year of aggressive expansion and consolidation in emerging markets, particularly Africa. How do you see these efforts shaping MelBet’s long-term strategy, and what lessons have you drawn from your success in these regions?

Africa has become a strategic hub of growth for us. Markets such as Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Senegal have shown high engagement and significant long-term potential.

Our key takeaways:

  • Localization is not optional – it is essential. Success is built on understanding culture, language, and user behavior.
  • Collaboration is the foundation of sustainability. Working with local partners has strengthened audience loyalty and improved traffic quality.
  • Flexibility drives growth. Each market requires its own approach, and the ability to adapt quickly determines long-term success.

We are already applying these principles in Latin America and Asia, forming the foundation of our long-term strategy.
