Zitro announced that its Bangalore Technology Campus has received ISO 27001 certification, covering information security management systems supporting software development operations.
The certification applies to processes governing the management of information at the India-based facility, which focuses on software development. According to the company, the scope includes controls intended to support the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information used by clients and employees.
ISO 27001 forms part of the ISO 27000 family of standards, which outline requirements for identifying information security risks, applying controls, and managing data protection in line with internationally recognized practices. Zitro said the certification confirms that information security policies and procedures at the Bangalore Technology Campus meet these requirements.
The company linked the certification to its Environmental, Social and Governance commitments, particularly in areas related to cybersecurity and data governance.
The Bangalore Technology Campus operates under Zitro India Technologies, which the supplier inaugurated in 2023 at Centennial Business Park in the EPIP Industrial Area. Zitro said the site supports software development activities and houses teams of developers, engineers, designers, programmers, and quality assurance testers working on gaming technology.
In December 2024, Zitro announced that the same Bangalore campus achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, covering quality management systems. The company said that certification followed a comprehensive audit of operations, which reviewed process documentation and quality controls across departments.
