Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe has completed a series of renovation projects aimed at upgrading accommodations and public spaces at the Stateline property. Officials announced that renovation work on the Sunset Tower has been finalized, marking a full overhaul of the tower’s hotel rooms.
The refurbishment included redesigned bathrooms, new designer furniture, and the installation of individual heating and cooling systems in each room.
The property has also reopened its Oyster Bar following a month-long closure for renovation. The venue features a raw seafood bar alongside menu offerings such as gumbos, traditional jambalaya, and pan roasts.
Several other areas across the resort have also been refreshed as part of the broader upgrade. Bill’s Sportsbook now includes 1,200 square feet of high-definition screens, booth and lounge seating for up to 240 guests, and a bar equipped with built-in slot machines.
The former Center Bar has been reintroduced as the Rush Lounge, featuring a redesigned modern bar, a stage, video poker machines, and a mix of bar and table seating, with live music scheduled on weekends.
Food and retail options at the property were also expanded. Bean & Bread, the hotel’s grab-and-go outlet, has been enlarged into a 920-square-foot space with an expanded menu. The on-site Essentials micro market has been refreshed and now offers travel necessities, snacks, beverages, and premium brands including Ray-Ban and Jellycat.
