Employees across The Venetian and The Palazzo will receive bonus payments of up to $750 this year as part of the resort’s annual Venetian Appreciation Award, the company confirmed.
The payout marks the fourth consecutive distribution under the program, which grants a $750 “Red Coin” payment to every full-time flex team member. Part-time and on-call workers will receive a prorated amount based on the hours they worked over the past year.
Introduced in 2022, the initiative has now delivered more than $32 million to resort employees. The program was developed by The Venetian Resort with the support of its parent company, Apollo Global Management, to strengthen alignment between staff performance and overall company objectives.
All eligible employees participate when the resort meets its financial and service benchmarks for the year, receiving the Red Coin Award in addition to their regular compensation.
Patrick Nichols, president and CEO of The Venetian Resort, said the award reflects the resort’s approach to teamwork and shared progress. “The Venetian Appreciation Award is a first-of-its-kind program and is designed to create alignment and build teamwork toward our vision,” Nichols said.
“When we win as a team, we all share in the success. This year was incredible, from completing the renovation of more than 4,000 suites to opening new experiences like Cote Korean Steakhouse and Via Via Food Hall.”
The resort reported a series of major developments throughout 2025, including the full renovation of all 4,000 suites at The Venetian, upgrades to its convention facilities, and the transformation of 400,000 square feet of space previously left unused. Twelve new restaurants also opened during the year, contributing to what executives described as a broader multi-year transformation.
Further changes are planned, with the resort preparing new luxury gaming areas and the completion of its convention center renovation. Suite upgrades at The Palazzo are scheduled to begin in 2026.
The company also highlighted its environmental and community initiatives. Through the third quarter, the resort’s Food Rescue Alliance recovered 187,177 meals, while 424,736 pounds of waste were diverted through donations to organizations including Clean the World, Opportunity Village, US Vets, and the Center for the Blind.
In a show of support for employees, the resort’s top 21 decision makers announced they will donate their combined Red Coin bonuses, totaling $15,750, to Rialto, the emergency assistance fund for workers. The contribution will be directed to HELP of Southern Nevada, which oversees the program.
