PENN Entertainment announced on Monday it has opened a second hotel tower at its M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas, completing the project ahead of schedule and on budget as part of the company’s broader U.S. expansion plan.
The new tower nearly doubles the property’s capacity to 765 rooms and suites. The expansion also includes the 15,000-square-foot Montese Ballroom, which opened in October 2025 and brings total indoor and outdoor conference and event space at the resort, located south of the Las Vegas Strip, to more than 100,000 square feet. The project will add about 120 jobs.

A public grand opening ceremony is scheduled for December 3 featuring special guests, dignitaries, a drone show and a musical performance.
“We’re thrilled to officially open the new tower at our market-leading M Resort property, which significantly expands our capacity to host guests and group business,” CEO Jay Snowden said, adding that the project reflects PENN’s “This growth project highlights the strength of our retail operation and our commitment to evolving the guest experience with best-in-class entertainment and hospitality options.”
The company received $150 million in project funding from Gaming and Leisure Properties on Nov. 3 at a 7.79% capitalization rate.
The tower is the second of PENN’s five planned growth projects to open, following the opening of the new Hollywood Casino Joliet in August 2025. Other developments remain on budget and on schedule, including the land-based Hollywood Casino Aurora in Illinois and a hotel tower at Hollywood Casino Columbus, both expected to open in late Q2 2026, and the relocation of Hollywood Casino Council Bluffs slated for late 2027 or early 2028.
