Merkur Group ended its 2025 trade fair season with a strong performance at the Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo (BEGE) in Sofia on November 26 to 27.
Thousands of industry visitors explored the company’s latest gaming innovations at the Inter Expo Centre.
Merkur Gaming highlighted its popular linked progressive jackpot systems Link Overdrive and Link Palace, both of which continued to draw significant attention for their diverse features and strong international following. The company also showcased its well-established multigame packages M-Prime and M-Line, known for their compatibility and extensive game libraries.
Two new products made their Eastern European debut: Spire in the Clouds, offering fully customizable gameplay, and Dragor, a high-impact jackpot feature. Both had already attracted interest at G2E Las Vegas and again demonstrated strong market potential.
GeWeTe, Merkur’s cash-handling subsidiary, presented its full range of banknote and coin validation, dispensing, and recycling solutions.
Merkur Gaming reported high booth traffic and productive meetings with partners and prospects.
“The exceptionally positive feedback on our products shows that our developments are precisely in line with market expectations,” said Marcel Heutmekers, Senior Vice President Merkur Games International. “The BEGE was a great way to end the year, and now we are looking forward to 2026 and our appearance at ICE, where visitors can expect a completely refreshed exhibition concept.”
