Conversations on AI, esports, cybersecurity, and regulation framed the European Gaming Congress 2025 in Warsaw, where HIPTHER reported its highest attendance yet and introduced attorney Marek Plota as Ambassador for the revamped HIPTHER Warsaw Summit launching in 2026.

The TechXperience Stage brought together participants from iGaming, fintech, digital entertainment, and cybersecurity to examine how AI, esports developments, startup activity, AEO and SEO trends, personalization tools, and B2B event preparation are affecting commercial and operational decisions. Marketing leads, founders, and technologists outlined how these subjects intersect with product delivery, player engagement, and brand positioning.

The technology program served as one of the conference’s busiest tracks, supported by strong attendance. Parallel to the tech discussions, the Compliance & Operations Lab reviewed legal developments across the European market. Topics included Poland’s regulatory structure, cross-border compliance from Paris to Berlin, CEE markets such as the Czech Republic and Romania, and emerging considerations in Baltic jurisdictions. Speakers also discussed updates from several LATAM markets.

The IMGL Masterclass, titled “Regulators, Legislators, and the Power of One Voice: A Legal Strategy for Industry Unity,” examined cooperation within regulatory environments. Sessions on fintech, taxation, licensing processes, and responsible gaming added further context for operators and suppliers assessing multi-market conditions.

Throughout the Congress, Plota—founding attorney at RM Legal & Gaming—participated as moderator and speaker. He contributed to panels addressing Poland’s gambling framework, taxation standards, licensing models, and European experiences that may inform CEE markets. His role in the IMGL Masterclass provided legal analysis for issues affecting operators working in Poland and the surrounding regions.

HIPTHER confirmed his appointment as Ambassador for the HIPTHER Warsaw Summit beginning in 2026. In his statement, Plota said: “It’s a real honor to serve as an ambassador for the Hipther Warsaw Summit and the European Gaming Congress. My collaboration with Zoltan Tundik and the Hipther team goes back many years as a panelist, moderator, sponsor, and above all, as a friend.

"These events are truly unique in the global gaming and gambling conference calendar — intimate, insightful, and refreshingly personal. Unlike the vast expos, Hipther events give people a genuine chance to meet, talk, and exchange ideas without walking 50,000 steps from one meeting to another. We are already looking forward to the next editions and to working together to make these conferences a true must-have for everyone in the industry.”

Plota leads RM Legal Law Firm and Gaming in Poland, which advises operators across the Polish, EU, and African markets on pre- and post-licensing matters, IT, taxation services, and representation functions. RM Legal is the only firm in Poland representing offshore companies that legally operate in the local gambling market.

HIPTHER announced that beginning next year, the conference will take place as the HIPTHER Warsaw Summit, signaling the next stage for its Poland-based industry event. Organizers said they intend to continue building the discussions connecting Western Europe, CEE, Africa, and LATAM markets when the Summit opens in 2026.
