With roughly €12 billion ($13.9 billion) in gambling revenue still generated offline, Wazdan sees Italy as a significant opportunity for online expansion.
The iGaming developer will present its Online Gaining formula and upcoming titles at the SiGMA Central Europe summit in Rome from Nov. 4–6, positioning itself to tap into one of Europe’s largest yet underdeveloped online gaming markets.
Italy’s total gambling revenue is estimated at €16 billion ($18.6 billion), with only about 25% of that currently coming from online activity. This leaves a substantial segment of the market operating only through land-based channels, presenting growth potential for companies offering digital gaming solutions.
Located at stand 4040 at the Fiera Roma venue, Wazdan will display its portfolio of over 250 certified games, available in more than 30 languages and across 25 regulated markets. Visitors can preview the newly released Mighty Wild: Gorilla, as well as Cash Grotto, 16 Coins x5000, and Mighty Crown: Legacy of Mars, titles that have reported strong early performance among Wazdan’s operator partners.
The company’s presentation will center on its Online Gaining formula, which integrates player engagement tools and slot mechanics designed to help operators improve performance metrics across regulated regions.
Wazdan will also introduce its upcoming €6 million ($7 million) Network Promotion, a multi-stage campaign scheduled to run during the festive period. The initiative aims to support player retention for partner operators and will be discussed in detail during the summit.
“SiGMA Central Europe is a fantastic opportunity to connect with partners and share how our Online Gaining formula continues to drive measurable growth,” said Andrzej Hyla, Chief Commercial Officer at Wazdan. “We are delighted to be acting as a partner throughout the three-day summit, and look forward to shedding light on how our powerful game mechanics and retention tools can help partners accelerate their success in this dynamic market.”
Beyond its product presentations, Wazdan views its participation in SiGMA Central Europe as a means to strengthen collaboration with Italian iGaming operators and industry partners. The company said the summit provides a venue to share insights into slot innovation and network-driven engagement.
