Turning Stone Enterprises has unveiled animated renderings of Turning Stone Evolution, a $370 million expansion project to be completed in 2027. The plan marks the New York resort’s largest development in 20 years.

The new visuals, unveiled this week, provide a dynamic look at the project, allowing guests and stakeholders to experience the transformation in a more immersive way than earlier photo renderings, according to officials.

The expansion will add the 165,000-square-foot Grand Expo, doubling the Turning Stone resort’s conference and events space with two new ballrooms, courtyards, and reception areas. It will also include the Crescent Hotel, a 258-room tower with direct access to the resort’s restaurants, event center, showroom, and casino.

The Crescent Hotel will feature Salt Seafood & Raw Bar, a new fine-dining restaurant. To accommodate growth, construction is underway on a 1,600-space parking garage, which will double Turning Stone’s existing indoor parking capacity.

The Oneida Indian Nation’s $370 million investment is projected to generate a one-time economic impact of more than $600 million, along with $22 million in state and local tax revenue. The project is expected to create more than 3,500 construction and related jobs, with 60 New York businesses already contracted to support the Grand Expo, Crescent Hotel, and parking facility.

In 2024 alone, the Oneida Indian Nation spent more than $161 million with vendors in Oneida, Madison, and Onondaga counties—a figure expected to rise with the expansion.

The expansion will position Turning Stone as the largest conference destination in Upstate New York and one of just three facilities of its scale in the state.

The release of the animated renderings coincides with preparations for the Nation’s upcoming “Doing Business with the Oneida Indian Nation” conference, scheduled for Friday, Sept. 12, 2025. The half-day event will provide local businesses with insight into vendor opportunities tied to Turning Stone Evolution, as well as the $50 million expansion of Point Place Casino.

The conference will feature panel discussions with business partners, resort leadership, and vendors, highlighting best practices for collaboration. A procurement fair will also connect business owners directly with Oneida Indian Nation purchasing agents.
