SAGSE authorities have announced a Keynote Panel under the slogan ‘The New Landscape of Sports Betting and Online Casinos in Paraguay and LATAM: Regulation, Technology, and Competition,’ which will take place on Thursday, August 7, starting at 10:00 a.m.
According to the announcement, the organization took this initiative based on the understanding that Paraguay recently began “a new stage in its sports betting industry, with the end of the monopoly, opening up to competition, and a highly attractive tax environment for operators and suppliers.”
For this purpose, SAGSE convened a panel of industry leaders, who will analyze how to capitalize on this transition into an open and competitive model.

Confirmed speakers include executives such as Maximiliano Bello (Country Manager at Betsson), Víctor Arias (VP LATAM at Pragmatic Play), Daniel Lagos (General Manager at Solbet), and Alejandro Tamayo (General Manager at Apostala Paraguay), moderated by Tomás García Botta, a lawyer specializing in regional gambling regulation.
It should be noted that this conference will take place as part of an extensive schedule that includes talks, conferences, exhibition spaces, and networking opportunities on August 6, 7, and 8 at the Hotel Casino Acaray in Ciudad del Este.
