Online betting operator Stake Colombia has announced tennis star Juan Sebastián Cabal as its new brand ambassador.

Cabal rose to global prominence by reaching the No. 1 spot in the ATP doubles rankings in 2019. Alongside longtime partner Robert Farah, he captured Grand Slam titles at Wimbledon and the US Open, reached finals at Roland Garros and the Australian Open. Cabal also secured a mixed doubles title at the Australian Open. The duo also claimed numerous titles across ATP 1000, 500, and 250 tournaments, cementing their place in tennis history.

"Having Juan Sebastián Cabal as an ambassador is key for Stake Colombia,” said Diana Otálora, Country Manager of Stake Colombia. “At a time when paddle is experiencing an explosion in popularity across the country, fostering entertainment among young people is fundamental."

"Supporting, connecting with the community, and offering new experiences is what drives us, and this alliance is an opportunity to truly excite both paddle and tennis enthusiasts alike."

Cabal has also represented Colombia in three editions of the Olympic Games and a cornerstone of Colombia’s Davis Cup team for over 15 years. Today, he remains active in sports through his club, Padeling by Cabal, which promotes wellness and athletic development in his hometown.

“It is a fantastic opportunity to continue promoting the values of sport and dedication that have accompanied me throughout my career,” Cabal said. “I am excited about the idea of working together to inspire more people and support sports development in our country."

The partnership will focus on community engagement, sports integrity, and delivering new experiences to Colombian fans, Stake said in a release.
