WinCasino has opened its newest casino in Warsaw. Developed by Wintoro, the €5 million project expands WinCasino's network to five locations nationwide and brings over 100 new jobs to the capital’s workforce.
The new casino, located at 40 Smolna Street within Hotel Indigo near the De Gaulle Roundabout, is the first to open in Warsaw under a new license in nearly two decades. WinCasino Warsaw operates under a license granted by the Polish Minister of Finance following a competitive tender process and regulatory compliance.
“This is our fifth casino in Poland, but undoubtedly the most important and prestigious one. We wanted to create a space that offers top-tier gaming while also setting new standards in guest experience — from interior design to customer service,” Monika Paliwoda, CEO of E-fun, owner of Wintoro.”
“WinCasino Warsaw is part of a broader strategy to integrate casinos into the urban landscape and to redefine them as modern social and entertainment venues. It’s an approach that, until now, has been more the exception than the rule in Poland. Guests nowadays are looking for unique, relaxing, high-end experiences. Our ambition is to meet those expectations and help shape the future direction of the industry in Poland,” Paliwoda added.
The Warsaw casino features dedicated VIP zones, automatic yet limited access controls, and personalized services. The property includes Poland’s first gold gaming table and gold slot machines, developed specifically for the site by Polish manufacturer Promatic. These elements were modeled after installations in Monte Carlo casinos.
The venue is also equipped with wooden gaming tables from the Italian brand Abbiati, a supplier to international casinos. Slot machine offerings include Poland’s largest selection of VIP machines, featuring oversized monitors and surround-sound seating. The casino also houses what it says are the largest slot machines in the country, each with dual 65-inch screens.
“Warsaw is a key market for us — demanding, yet incredibly inspiring,” said Mariusz Grzejszczak, CEO of Wintoro. “Opening the casino on Smolna Street is the result of long-term planning and a commitment to quality. We want everyone who visits our casino to feel like they’re in a place unlike any other — and to want to come back.”
The casino operates 24/7 and is situated near restaurants, clubs, and hotels in the city center. The site provides designated smoking and non-smoking areas, optimized acoustics, and subtle lighting within spacious interiors. The design approach incorporates standards from casinos in London, Singapore, and Las Vegas.
A bar is available on-site, offering cocktails and premium beverages. Guest parking is included in the venue’s infrastructure, a feature that is uncommon in central Warsaw locations.
