The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) has announced the latest results for its Index, encompassing the month of June, which show an increase of 162.11 points to 1,903.29, a 9.3% gain from the prior month. Compared to one year ago, the index rose 43.1%, or 573.10 points.
The AGEM Index is a monthly stock performance guide comprising 12 global gaming suppliers. During the latest month, ten of the 12 AGEM Index companies reported stock price increases, which resulted in ten positive contributions and two negative contributions to the AGEM Index.

The largest positive contributor to the monthly index was Konami Corp., whose 16.1% increase in stock price led to an 88.88-point gain to the index. Meanwhile, Aristocrat Leisure Limited saw its stock price increase by 4.4%, leading to a 44.83-point increase for the index. Meanwhile, the largest negative contributor to the monthly index was Transact Technologies, whose 3.7% decrease in stock price resulted in a 0.03-point loss to the index.
In June, all three major U.S. stock indices increased from the prior month for the second consecutive period. The NASDAQ rose by 5.9% over the month, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average experienced a 5.2% increase. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 rose by 4.9% from the prior period.
