Following next April’s SiGMA South America conference in São Paulo, organizers are arranging a three-day retreat in Florianópolis for 50 affiliates focused on Latin American markets.
The trip is intended to give participants additional time to connect with affiliates and operators in a more relaxed environment after the busy main event, which is expected to draw 18,500 delegates.
The retreat will start with a private flight from São Paulo to the coastal island, where affiliates will check into beachside accommodations. Plans include welcome drinks, options for spa visits or beach time, and a private dinner on the first evening.
The second day features rafting, a barbecue lunch aboard a boat with stops at nearby islands, and a beach club gathering at night. Before returning to São Paulo, guests will have breakfast, some time to explore the local area, and a closing lunch.
Organizers say the retreat is designed to build on conversations started at SiGMA South America, which is set to host over 400 exhibitors, 4,000 operators, and more than 2,000 affiliates.
With only 50 spots available, the trip is aimed at affiliates managing traffic in the region who are looking to strengthen industry connections in a smaller setting. Registration is now open for those interested in taking part.
