Gila River to open bingo hall at Santan Mountain with four-day launch event

Gila River Resorts & Casinos has opened a bingo hall at its newest property, Santan Mountain. The operator will be combining traditional bingo with live entertainment and promotional giveaways as part of the new amenity's multi-day opening event.

From August 29 to September 1, guests can experience themed sessions, prize draws, and entertainment as part of the opening. The public event will take place daily from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Santan Mountain, located at 7101 Gilbert Rd., Chandler, Arizona.

Promotional activities will include appearances by a surprise celebrity guest host, a live DJ, giveaways, and what the company refers to as the world’s largest bingo drum.

Each session will see the first 230 guests in line spin a prize wheel for a chance to win items such as free T-shirts, daubers, gift cards, hats, varsity jackets, and other prizes. Attendees may also join Santan Mountain’s inaugural bingo sessions at 12 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.

A “buy one, get one free” promotion for electronic bingo ticket packages will be available throughout the grand opening weekend.

The venue will also offer “Bingo After Dark” (B.A.D. Bingo), a late-night program held every Saturday at 11:30 p.m. The sessions will feature a live DJ, line dancing, glowsticks, cash prizes, and other entertainment. The first B.A.D. Bingo session at Santan Mountain will take place on Saturday, August 30, and will include surprise hosts.

The Santan Mountain bingo hall spans 13,000 square feet and features an indoor/outdoor open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide views of the Santan Mountains. The space includes a sound and lighting system, a dance floor, digital bingo capabilities, and 98-inch HDTVs. Bingo sessions will be held daily, with ticket packages ranging from $30 to $225.
