Leading gaming industry companies will participate in SBC Summit Malta this week, as the event brings together 6,000 professionals to explore new game technologies, payment platforms, and brand strategies through a series of workshops, panels, and an expansive exhibition area at the InterContinental in St. Julian's.

The summit, running from June 10-12, 2025, marks the evolution of the former CasinoBeats Summit and is set to function as a central meeting point for the European iGaming industry.

The summit's attendee profile includes 2,000 betting and iGaming operators, along with 750 affiliates. Additional participants will represent game studios, sportsbooks, payment providers, regulatory bodies, and marketing organizations. The three-day schedule is structured to facilitate business interactions and provide educational opportunities.

Educational tracks and workshops

The educational component of the summit features insights from 250 industry leaders. The conference program will be presented across three stages, offering dedicated tracks focused on casino, affiliation, and marketing. The program has expanded to include core industry segments such as sports betting, European regulation and compliance, and payments.

Seventeen workshops are scheduled, providing interactive learning experiences. Topics for these sessions include individual professional development, brand expansion, audience behavior analysis, and the future of iGaming search engine optimization.

Scheduled speakers

A range of industry figures is slated to speak at the summit. These include Nils Andén, CEO of Kindred Group; Andreas Bardun, CEO of KTO Group; Francesco Postiglione, CEO of Casumo Holdings Ltd; Axel Hefer, CEO of Tipico; Jovana Popović Čanaki, CEO of iGP; Charles Mizzi, CEO of the Malta Gaming Authority; Elen Barber, CMO of SuperGroup; and Kristina Murgovska, CPO of Rhino Entertainment.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, said that last year's CasinoBeats Summit yielded positive outcomes, but an increasing requirement for an event addressing the entire gambling industry ecosystem became apparent. Sojmark indicated that SBC Summit Malta does exactly that.

“For iGaming and casino specialists, the event continues to provide the targeted focus you’ve come to expect. But with the addition of new educational tracks and strategic discussions on payments, sports betting, and regulation, it’s now an essential event for all professionals looking to make an impact in Europe,” said Sojmark.

Exhibition floor and networking

The exhibition floor will feature numerous regional and international brands. This space will allow delegates to examine technological advancements, platform innovations, and new game releases.

Confirmed exhibitors include 1X2 Network, Alea, BetConstruct, BluOrBank, BridgerPay, ELA Games, GamingMalta, Impressario Casino, Lambda Gaming, Paynovate, Smartico, and Z-Gaming.

The exhibition area will also feature dedicated facilities and designated meeting zones. On the morning of Thursday, June 12, a Women Empowerment Breakfast Meet-Up is scheduled. Meanwhile, the "Craps Lounge" and "Roulette Lounge," sponsored by JohnnyBet, will provide informal settings for networking throughout the two main days.

Evening networking events are planned for all attendees holding a Full Event Pass. The SBC Summit Malta Opening Party will take place on Tuesday, June 10, at Infinity by Hugos.

On Wednesday, June 11, the Aria Complex will host the debut of INFINITY Malta, an industry gathering featuring EDM artist Galantis. The summit will conclude on Thursday, June 12, with the Official Closing Party at Open Waters, co-occurring with the SBC Awards Europe 2025 at the Hilton Malta.
