Caesars Entertainment has once again been named among The Civic 50, an annual list compiled by Points of Light that identifies the top 50 US companies demonstrating a structured commitment to community engagement.
This is the 11th year Caesars has received the recognition, which is based on data-driven analysis of social impact programs tied to business operations. The Civic 50 evaluates publicly and privately held companies with annual revenues of at least $1 billion.
Participants are assessed on four dimensions: investment of resources, integration across business functions, institutionalization through policies and systems, and impact measurement. The tool is administered by True Impact and scored by VeraWorks.
In 2024, Caesars Entertainment allocated over $71 million to community-related activities. Of this, the Caesars Foundation contributed more than $3.4 million in donations to nonprofit organizations.
Across its US properties, Caesars employees, referred to internally as HERO volunteers, provided 93,000 hours of volunteer service.
Kiersten Flint, Senior Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and Internal Communications, highlighted that the company facilitates both financial and time-based contributions through various programs.
“We have a very dedicated Team Member base of HERO volunteers who go out into our communities across the country and donate their time and money to making our communities better,” said Flint. “So much so that we launched an Extraordinary HERO program last year to celebrate these Team Members who make our Company and the world a better place. It’s an honor to be recognized by Points of Life for the 11th year and celebrate our team’s dedication.”
Caesars plans to release its 16th Corporate Social Responsibility report later this year. The publication will outline the company’s PEOPLE PLANET PLAY framework, which organizes its community and environmental work, workforce development strategies, and programs focused on responsible entertainment.
Points of Light CEO Jennifer Sirangelo said that Caesars and other companies participating in the Civic 50 demonstrate how social programs are being embedded within operational models.
“Companies like Caesars Entertainment are leading the way in showing how social impact benefits their employees’ well-being, strengthens the communities where they do business, and brings value and meaning to their work,” said Sirangelo. "Their efforts provide a model for others looking to bring the benefits of volunteering and social impact to their workforce, and they’re extremely deserving of this recognition.”
