Global casino management systems and jackpot technology supplier, DR Gaming Technology, made a return to the Venetian, Macao in early May after a six-year hiatus as a standalone exhibitor, after being present at G2E Asia under the umbrella of their local distributor between 2019 and 2024.
However, with a surge in significant opportunities emerging in the region, the company said that it felt it was time to reclaim its own space at the event.
“While the pandemic may have caused a few lost years, we’ve always remained present at G2E Asia. However, recent developments in the region have made it clear that the time has come for us to reassert our presence with a standalone exhibition in 2025,” said Jurgen De Munck, Executive Chairman and co-founder of DRGT.

At booth A1029, the company showcased its "world-class" management systems technology and cutting-edge web-based applications, but it was their "innovative" jackpots that truly stole the spotlight.
“What our patented drSMIB technology does, with its ‘mesh management system’ network, is deliver what we call system-driven jackpots,” explained DRGT CEO Marco Herrera. “Our jackpots are integrated into the casino management system (CMS), allowing operators to run them ‘on top of’ existing slot machines and games, which are driven and configured through our CMS.”
This system offers operators the flexibility to customize jackpots from the comfort of their office. They can tailor jackpots to different player types, set criteria based on parameters like coin-in, time of day, loyalty tier, game type, and more. This means operators can activate and schedule jackpots without the need to purchase additional jackpot controllers, offering them complete control.
Another highlight at DRGT's booth was their Reel Bonus Games. While not jackpots, these games share the same flexibility and configurability as the system-driven jackpots.

Operators can activate, theme, and present them at their discretion. The games feature an ‘activation bucket,’ showing players as they near the trigger for a bonus game. Once activated, Reel Bonus Games can offer various rewards, such as raffle tickets, loyalty points, F&B vouchers, Free Play, cash prizes, and more.
“While our Jackpots and Reel Bonus Games received tremendous attention, I was also pleased with the interest shown in our drAnalytics business intelligence tool, as well as our drStaffApp and drPlayerApp,” said Herrera.
“These solutions leverage advanced technology to provide operators with tools that enhance the player experience. As always, our design mantra is ‘The Player First,’ and we remain fully committed to that vision.”
Following their success at G2E Asia, DRGT will shift their focus to Slovenia, where they will be a platinum sponsor of the Casino Operations Summit at the Perla Entertainment and Resort in Nova Gorica, taking place from May 13 to 15.
