Fanatics Sportsbook has announced the expansion of its FanCash and Fair Play initiatives as it seeks to strengthen customer engagement during the NBA Playoffs.
The company launched FanCash Drop, a new game offering customers a chance to win up to $10,000 in FanCash, a loyalty reward that can be redeemed on Fanatics.com and the Fanatics app. Fanatics Sportsbook awarded more than $750,000 in FanCash through the new program in the first week alone, the operator said. FanCash Drop will be available to customers every Friday, with varying prize amounts.

With approximately 75% of sportsbook customers using FanCash and up to 10% being redeemed each month, the loyalty program has become a key component of Fanatics’ growth strategy, according to the sportsbook.
Fanatics Sportsbook also extended its Fair Play protection — which refunds certain player prop bets if a player exits early due to injury — from covering the first quarter to the first half for all games during the NBA Playoffs. Fair Play will apply to straight bets, parlays, and Same Game Parlays (SGP).
Since the start of the football season, customers have received more than $6 million in winning payouts through Fair Play protections.
In addition, Fanatics Sportsbook will roll out a Fair Play Hub within its mobile app, allowing users to track live player news and Fair Play-related payouts.
The initiatives come as Fanatics intensifies efforts to differentiate itself in the highly competitive U.S. sports betting market.
