LeoVegas Group is opening a new office in Leeds, its second in the UK, to support the growth of its BetMGM and LeoVegas brands. Newcastle will remain the company’s main UK headquarters.
The new office will occupy the ground and lower ground floors of Tailor’s Corner, a Grade A listed building on Thirsk Row, located in the heart of Leeds.
The 5,000 square foot space is strategically positioned in an area that already boasts a growing iGaming presence, with major industry players Flutter, the parent company of SkyBet and Paddy Power, and Evoke, owner of William Hill, which will move to West Village by September.
According to a report from FIRST, independent chartered surveyors Carter Towler are assisting LeoVegas Group with the office expansion.
“LeoVegas Group is an award-winning, dynamic international gaming group, and we’re thrilled they have chosen such an exceptional office space in central Leeds to continue their growth,” said James Jackson, who works for Carter Towler.
“The fit-out of the offices is already underway and is scheduled for completion this summer, with the team creating a vibrant and dynamic working environment which includes high-quality collaboration, meeting and amenity spaces," he added.
Gethin Evans, Managing Director of UK and Ireland at LeoVegas Group, highlighted the strategic advantages of Leeds: "Leeds is a great city packed with energy and opportunities. As one of the fastest-growing cities, we can’t wait to move there and enjoy the benefits of accessing to a growing talent pool.”
“It’s an important step towards our key goal to continue building the strength of our hero brands in the UK, BetMGM and LeoVegas, by attracting top talent. Leeds will support the main office in Newcastle, which will continue to remain the UK heart of LeoVegas Group.”
The group is already hiring for several roles in Leeds, including UK Sports Director and Senior Finance Business Partner. It expects the move to be complete by the end of the year.
