From November 11 to 14, Malta will play host to SiGMA Europe 2024, one of Europe’s largest iGaming conferences. The exhibition is expected to serve as a major networking hub for over 25,000 exhibitors, including 6,500 operators and affiliates, gaming and payment solution providers, regulators, and investors.
Among the companies gearing up for SiGMA Europe is PIN-UP Global, which will be awaiting event attendees at booth 1073. At the show, visitors will be able to find out about the iGaming holding's latest plans and explore partnership opportunities.
To learn more about what PIN-UP's presence at the show will be like, Yogonet held an exclusive interview with the company's team.
What can you tell us about the opportunities this event opens for PIN-UP? What are your main goals and expectations for the show?
We are actively preparing for SiGMA Europe. It is undoubtedly an important event
to keep in touch with current partners and meet new ones, as well as an opportunity to showcase yourself and your solutions for the market.
We expect productive discussions on industry trends and our products. We are also ready for talks on expanding our presence in new markets, investing in promising projects, and establishing new partnerships.
How has the company prepared for the event and what will attendees approaching the stand find?
PIN-UP Global is participating in the exhibition with a memorable booth, as always (booth number 1073). Of particular importance, this time is the first-ever appearance of our investment fund team, PIN-UP.INVESTMENTS, at the exhibition.
They invite everyone interested to connect, learn about the fund’s investment priorities, and discuss potential collaboration opportunities. The team is ready to share insights on how promising projects are selected, which startups have already received
investments, and the key criteria for investment decisions.
As you mentioned, PIN-UP is highlighting its investment fund this time around, which has already backed several startups. How does this fund work and what does PIN-UP look for in the startups it backs?
PIN-UP invests in projects in gambling, traffic, software development, customer service, payment systems, AI-powered products, as well as arbitrage teams and advertising platforms. The fund looks for teams and projects with unique solutions, high scalability potential, and meaningful market impact. Especially attracted are startups that can contribute to the technological development of the iGaming industry.
Why us? Our main advantage is the expertise and resources of a large, active international holding that fully supports a startup at every stage of its development with us, ensuring it is done quickly and efficiently. With us, a startup gets a quick market entry and scaling. To date, the fund has received more than 130 applications, of which seven projects have already been accepted into the fund's work and are at various stages of realization.
During the week, PIN-UP Partners, part of the PIN-UP Global holding, will be hosting the IMPERIUM RAVE during the first day of SiGMA Europe. What can you tell us about this special event? What will those attending the party find?
Of course, the PIN-UP Partners team will also be present at the conference and will gladly welcome guests at booth 4007, where everyone can catch up on the latest news from PIN-UP Partners and explore collaboration opportunities with the team.
On the first day of the conference, November 12, PIN-UP Partners will hold a grand event - IMPERIUM RAVE at the Chateau Monte Cristo. As you already know, PIN-UP Partners parties always cause a stir and produce a wow effect. The PIN-UP Partners team will try to surprise you this time too - a capsule collection of exclusive items created especially for this event is planned to be shown.
Greek DJ Argy, famous for his hit “Tataki” and Ukrainian pianist Yevhen Khmara will be the headliners of the evening. The team expects 3 thousand guests to attend the event.
What are some of the major trends that you see gaining momentum in the gaming sector and expect to be discussed at SiGMA Europe? Are there any significant changes in topics such as customer preferences, market dynamics, and regulation that you could highlight for us?
We expect several key trends in iGaming to intensify. First, personalized experiences are becoming a key customer expectation, and with the expansion of AI and big data, operators can tailor offers even more precisely.
There is also a growing emphasis on responsible gaming, with increased regulation in various regions, especially in Europe and Latin America. Discussions are expected to focus on the impact of new regulations on operators' strategies and ESG trends to improve brand image and credibility.
The Malta event comes as the company actively expands into the B2B market and its brand grows in popularity. How would you describe PIN-UP's current standing in the gaming market? What's next for the company?
We are already receiving many requests for new partnerships, as well as positive feedback from current ones. Our strength is our integrated approach: the holding company has all the tools and resources necessary for iGaming business, proven by our long-term experience.
When moving to B2B, our main goal is to ensure quick integration and adaptation of our products and services to partners' businesses. Also, with the help of our experts from the R&D department, we track market trends and implement innovative technologies into our products among the first. In this way, we create a full ecosystem of technical solutions and services that meet all market demands.
