Airport services company Plaza Premium Group has opened its first luxury lounge in Macau, located at Macau International Airport, under its Plaza Premium First (PPF) brand. The 5,000-square-foot facility near boarding gate 10/10A offers a range of VIP services and exclusive amenities, catering to high-end travelers.
The new lounge is part of PPF’s series of premium airport lounges, marking the fourth in the group’s collection. Major Macau gaming concessionaires Sands China, Galaxy Entertainment Group, and MGM China have each secured dedicated lounges within the PPF space. A fourth lounge is expected to be taken by another concessionaire.
PPF Macau provides what it describes as an elevated travel experience, featuring local Macau food specialties and private, customizable "Beyond First" services aimed at high-end clientele.
Song Hoi-See, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group, highlighted the increasing number of high-end travelers visiting the city. "We believe that now is the best time for PPG to expand its business in Macau and further cater to the needs of the high-end market,” Song said.
He also noted that concessionaires previously did not have dedicated VIP spaces at Macau’s airport but are now recognizing the shift toward luxury tourism. "The arrival of Sands, Galaxy, and MGM represents the industry’s realization that the customer base is shifting to the high-end," Song added.
While the aforementioned three operators have already snapped up three dedicated lounges at PPF, a fourth one remains vacant, yet to be occupied by another Macau gaming concessionaire.
