On March 12 and 13, a new edition of the Peru Gaming Show (PGS) will be held. The chosen venue will be the Centro de Exposiciones Jockey de Lima.

Among the great protagonists of the Latin American gaming industry is Pragmatic Play, which will arrive with its latest novelties and is also one of the main sponsors of the event.

Victor Arias, Vice President of Latam operations at Arrise powering Pragmatic Play, talked to Yogonet about the company's participation in the summit. He also shared with us his insight on the current state of the gaming industry in the region.

What are your expectations for the upcoming Peru Gaming Show (PGS) 2024?

PGS has undoubtedly become one of the most popular trade fairs in Latin America. More and more representatives of the sector are waiting for this date, especially now that Peru is at a key moment in the regulation of the activity. The same happens with Pragmatic Play, so expectations are certainly high.

I consider this to be a very interesting market with a lot of potential, so I am looking forward to meeting with important colleagues in the region and sharing with them the possibilities Pragmatic Play opens for them. The various products available will be the real protagonists. 

What can we expect from Pragmatic Play as a sponsor of the event? Will there be any special activities?

Yes, of course, there will be. Today, Pragmatic Play's hallmark can be summed up in three words: innovation, quality, and commitment. And that is precisely what we aim for in every event. Like other participations in 2024, PGS promises to be one more in which outstanding products in the local market will be the main attraction. So you will all be very welcome at booth 59.

Indeed, the company's presence will play an important role as a sponsor. It is another sign of the degree of involvement and interest in sustaining over time the position of leader and favorite that Pragmatic Play has earned, not only here in Latin America, but all over the world.

PGS will be the 5th event of the Pragmatic Play Experience concept. What does it mean for the company to have a strong presence in the region's summits?

Being present at the most relevant summits in the region is extremely positive for all companies in the sector. Beyond the fact that we are connected in different ways, the exchange that takes place in these instances is irreplaceable.

That is the starting point when defining a calendar and planning how each participation will be: to understand that they all have their value and must be taken advantage of to the maximum. Event after event, I see that Pragmatic Play has become a reference in the region and that it is one of the most awaited at each exhibition. And that is achieved, among other things, by bringing innovative concepts, such as the Pragmatic Play Experience.

Online gaming is experiencing unprecedented growth in Latin America. What strategy does Pragmatic Play plan to embrace for a public that is increasingly eager for products and at the same time so diverse?

The truth is that Pragmatic Play is well prepared for this growth. It has always been characterized as being at the forefront of trends and constantly developing new entertainment experiences. And that allows the offer to cover an audience as diverse as the Latin American one.

Logically, this particular heterogeneity of Latin America is a challenge and an aspect that must be carefully considered. But, at the same time, it represents a great opportunity, even more so for a multi-vertical content provider, as is the case of Pragmatic Play.
