Konami Gaming appoints Stephanie Lau as VP of Sales Enablement, boosting gaming operations leadership

Konami Gaming has appointed Stephanie Lau as Vice President of Sales Enablement & Gaming Operations. Her role will involve fostering strategic positioning, processes, data analysis, and market delivery for exceptional casino customer outcomes, the company said.

Since 2005, Lau has served in operations, finance, and analytics for several major industry operators including Station Casinos and MGM Resorts International, across sectors spanning tribal and commercial, local, and resort destinations.

In her role at Konami, she will lead the company’s business operations, sales operations, and data analytics divisions.

“With nearly 20 years of distinguished experience in the gaming industry, Stephanie is bringing an important operator focus and data-driven approach to this key appointment,” said Jay Bertsch, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Konami Gaming.

“She has demonstrated an ability to drive exceptional results through gaming analytics, market strategy, product positioning, and customer engagement, which we look forward to sharing with the valued casinos we serve.”

Recently, the company also appointed Eric Schultz as its Vice President of Studio Operations, leading the charge in overseeing the comprehensive spectrum of game development areas. Schultz, an expert in gaming product development with a proven background in the industry, assumed responsibility for software development, art design, sound design, math design, and project management.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Yogonet, Eduardo Aching, Vice President of International Gaming Operations at Konami, said 2023 was a year of increasing momentum across different product sectors for the company.

“Konami’s traditional land-based product is building back with more creative entertainment options. Our iGaming team is also reaching more social gaming and for-wager sites with Konami’s popular slot brands, for omni-channel games delivery,” he said. 

"Additionally, Konami’s SYNKROS casino management system is seeing strong global interest for its latest tools and technology, spanning mobile solutions, reporting and analytics, compliance, and more."
