SOFTSWISS' Regional Business Development Manager for Latin America, Dario Leiman, confirmed his attendance at the next edition of SAGSE LatAm, where the company will seek to present its solutions to iGaming companies in the region.

In an interview, Leiman said he will be a speaker at a conference that will address the importance of game portfolios in the iGaming business and the influence of games on key business metrics for operators, among other topics.

The company has grown a lot in the last years at the international level, offering online betting technology and emphasizing the crypto market. What challenges does the LatAm market present to you in this segment, considering the opening and regulation of the online market in several countries?

SOFTSWISS is fully prepared to meet the challenges and changes that arise in regulated markets. With over 16 licenсes, certificates, and compliances from various countries worldwide, we have extensive experience in this field.

To ensure success in any market or sector, SOFTSWISS recognizes the importance of well-defined standards. Therefore, regulated markets are crucial for the industry's long-term prosperity and development.

We are committed to obtaining all necessary certifications, adhering to operational regulations in different countries, and setting an example for responsible gambling practices. Through these efforts, we can easily provide one-stop-shop solutions for White Label services, affiliate marketing, payment management, and more.

Based on your local and regional experience, what kind of products and services does an operator looking to implement its betting site value most, and what does it demand in the region instead of what they may find as natural demands in Europe, for example?

In my opinion, there is high demand for applications that allow launching one's iGaming business from scratch through a single process, known as one-stop-shop solutions. They enable the simultaneous integration of the most necessary solutions for online casinos, including the platform. The optimal option is the White Label solution, which includes licensing, payments, and game content integration.

Regarding game content, the most suitable choice, particularly for LatAm, is to connect a content hub with a sports betting platform. We all know how much local players are interested in sports betting, especially soccer, making it an ideal option for our region. For such requests, SOFTSWISS offers the perfect solution – integration of the Game Aggregator and the Sportsbook Platform, available through one API connection.

Additionally, our company recently announced the possibility of launching jackpots on sports betting platforms, thanks to integrating the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook with our young product, the Jackpot Aggregator. This solution significantly increases player retention.

Can you give your assessment of what is happening in the cryptocurrency market in LatAm?

The usage of cryptocurrencies is expanding throughout South America, with sales and purchases reaching $38 billion in 2021. Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and Mexico have grown in this area. Despite this, 2022 presented challenges for digital currencies in the iGaming and global markets.

Client statistics from the Game Aggregator and Casino Platform indicate an 11% decline in the percentage of total wagers placed on cryptocurrencies, resulting in the strengthening of fiat. BGaming, a rising star in the iGaming market, maintained its position as one of the top providers of crypto betting for the second consecutive year.

Throughout 2022, Brazilian politicians and the government debated cryptocurrency usage laws. Shortly before the year's end, President Jair Bolsonaro signed the corresponding law, which is significant as the usage of cryptocurrencies in the region is expected to increase with the expansion of the Brazilian market. Other countries in the region may follow Brazil's example in establishing their own crypto legislation in the future.

What are your expectations and goals for the SAGSE event in Buenos Aires that you will attend this week?

In my opinion, this is a great chance for iGaming experts to meet and discuss the latest trends and developments in the industry. My main goal for the show is to introduce SOFTSWISS' innovative solutions to local iGaming businesses. I am open to meetings and contacts with long-time partners, friends, and potential customers.

The event's primary focus will be exchanging experience and knowledge, with the organizers preparing several public speaking sessions. I will speak in one of them, discussing the importance of game portfolios in the iGaming business. I will cover the influence of games on key business metrics for operators, the balance between the quality and quantity of games in the portfolio, and much more. So, be sure to attend the presentation, as there will be many interesting insights to take away!
