EGT: "For the first time, we will showcase the next-generation self-service betting terminal of EGT Digital at G2E"

With G2E Las Vegas right around the corner, companies from all over the world are getting prepared to showcase their products and solutions at the major gambling expo, to be held October 10-13 at The Venetian Expo.

Ahead of EGT's return to the show, Yogonet held an exclusive interview with Nadia Popova, VP of Sales & Marketing, who shared the company's plans for the event, as well as for the longer term.

What will the company’s presence at the event be like, and what will it focus on? What are some of the products the business is planning to showcase there?

We are happy that we will have the opportunity to participate in this year’s edition of G2E Las Vegas. Traditionally we will be expecting our current and potential clients in order to present them our bestselling products alongside the brand new developments in EGT’s portfolio.

Among the main accents in the selection for the show will be the latest jackpots High Cash, 2 Happy Hits, Cai Fu Tian Jiang, and Diamond Bonanza. Another top-performing jackpot at display on our booth will be Bell Link, which is constantly gaining popularity worldwide. The visitors will also be able to enjoy the captivating titles of Winner Selection 1 and 2 multigames designed specifically for the LatAm markets as well as the slot cabinets of our newest General Series.

What are the company's objectives and expectations for the expo? 

Our main objective for the expo will be to demonstrate our newest developments to our partners and customers. Together with the abovementioned gaming solutions at display will be also a brand new highly-potential multiplayer product.

For the very first time, we will also showcase the next-generation self-service betting terminal of EGT Digital. Provided with an ultra-responsive touchscreen and high-security standards, giving to players a captivating betting experience, this is an innovative solution for the industry. One of its biggest advantages for the operators is that it is a ready-to-use online casino solution requiring a short implementation time.

What does this participation at G2E mean for the company, especially given the prestige of the event? What impact could it have on the company’s business strategy, in terms of conversations with clients and potential deals?

G2E Las Vegas has always been very important for EGT and our company has traditionally participated in it for many years. Eloquent testimony to the great significance that the exhibition has for us is the fact that this year we are going to present our products in a bigger booth.

Although there are more guests from North and Latin America, which is completely understandable, every year G2E has been visited by many of our important partners from Europe, which makes it one of the must-attend events of the year for us.

EGT is among the finalists in the 9th consecutive edition of Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2022 (GGA), which are carried out in association with G2E, in the Land-Based Industry Supplier of the year category. What explains this nomination and what does this recognition mean for the company?

We are flattered that our company has been nominated in the Land-Based Industry Supplier of the year category in the prestigious Global Gaming Awards. EGT got this recognition because of its high-quality products and services which are well-known to many operators and players on a global level. The company currently has a presence in more than 100 jurisdictions on 5 continents.

Gaming is currently seeing a rebound from the pandemic but, at the same time, we are seeing growing economic concerns such as increasing inflation and supply chain disruption. What are the main demands of your clients at the moment, and how stable has it remained?

For a long time, EGT has been striving to achieve greater independence in terms of its production process. As a result, we closed almost entirely the 360-degree cycle, as we are manufacturing most of the components for our machines. However, that doesn’t mean that we don’t face different material supply issues, which generally affect the whole world. We work with extreme flexibility in order to be able to meet the short deadlines that are very important to our customers, while maintaining the high quality of our products.

What other new products is EGT working on, and what are some of the latest technologies it is seeking to leverage?

We are currently putting a very strong focus on the development of our subsidiary EGT Digital and its main product: the all-in-one betting platform X-Nave. It practically covers all opportunities for every casino, which makes it highly competitive. At the moment we are concentrating on enriching it with specifications for different markets. Our main goal is to make X-Nave synonymous with a modern, fast and secure platform.

Does EGT have further plans to participate in other upcoming expos besides G2E? If so, which ones?

After G2E Las Vegas we are planning to take part in BEGE Expo and SIGMA Europe in Malta in November. At the beginning of 2023 EGT will exhibit its latest product solutions on ICE London on a stand with an area of 2000 square meters.
