BetConstruct: "Peru is one of the countries with the greatest growth potential for online business"

BetConstruct is returning to Peru this week, to attend Peru Gaming Show (PGS) 2022 at booth #53 of the Jockey Exhibition Center in Lima. Gina Macheri Figuerola, Regional Director Peru, spoke exclusively with Yogonet about the innovations that the gaming and sports betting software provider will bring to this annual fair on Wednesday and Thursday.

The event, which will celebrate its 19th edition, is the framework chosen by BetConstruct to present one of its biggest brands, CreedRoomz, its Live Casino product. In addition, Macheri notes that PGS 2022 will serve as a "window of exposure" for its brand. "It opens the way for us to continue strengthening trade ties with the Latin market," she says. When asked about the ongoing regulatory momentum for online verticals in the region, she said the key is "not to affect the local operator versus a global operator, in terms of tax payments."

What are your objectives and expectations for this edition of PGS 2022?

We have high expectations for the Latin American market; Peru is one of the countries with the greatest growth potential for online business. Our main objective is to continue positioning our brand and to make known not only our software development solution but also the vast portfolio of services and products of our own brand that will help improve our partners' business performance.

What opportunities does PGS 2022 represent in the company's plans?

PGS is an important window of exposure, the influx of visitors, between operators and suppliers puts us in a showcase of exposure and opens the way for us to continue strengthening trade ties with the Latin market.

Will you be presenting any new products at this event? What will be your strategy to present them?

Yes, of course. We will be presenting our brand BetConstruct with its renowned TurnKey and Whitelabel solution, as well as the services associated with the business such as SpringBME console and the full package of iGaming services and tools under BME Services. We will also be presenting our biggest brand CREEDROOMZ which is our live casino product. We have a Live studio at our development office in Yerevan fully equipped with high-tech live casino hardware and streaming equipment. Our partners will find the option to offer their players real casino games played in real time 24/7 with a broadcast in 7 languages. CREEDROOMZ comes to PGS with a super interesting proposal for the land-based businesses. I am sure that our proposals will attract more than just curiosity as their solidity, experience and reliability will ensure online operators success in their business.

What are your expectations about the main Latin American markets this year? Do you plan to develop any product for a specific market soon?

Our commercial strategy is global and dedicated, each market is different and so are its needs. Our expansion in Latin America is focused on positioning our brand by offering solutions and products that adapt to every need. We are partners of our customers and this drives us to keep us in constant innovation and development.

You recently launched the Spin to Win virtual roulette game, do you plan to give it a specific weight during PGS 2022?

Spin to Win Deluxe is a non-stop version of virtual roulette available 24/7 to the visitor of betshops and will soon be available on web and mobile. All our products will be available for an on-site presentation or demo.

Peru is about to pass a law to regulate online gaming and sports betting. The bill currently proposes to apply a 20% tax on online sports betting. What is BetConstruct's position on this matter?

All regulation has an impact on the business that it did not have before. We have experience with markets such as Colombia or Argentina. The most important thing is not to affect the local operator versus a global operator, in terms of tax payments.

The Peruvian gaming regulator and other regional trade bodies in the region will assist at PGS 2022. How do you plan to capitalize on their presence?

The opportunity to exchange ideas and understand the benefit of what we are looking for when implementing a change in our business is always very important. Even more so in businesses like ours where we do not have customers but partners, the welfare of our partners is our success.

Last month, BetConstruct announced the launch of To Harmony for CreedRoomz, PopOK and Pascal Gaming, also part of the SoftConstruct group. How do you plan to present it at PGS 2022?

A 2,500,000 EUR promotion is one of the biggest BetConstruct ever had. The involved brands are CreedRoomz and PopOK and Pascal Gaming providers. This promotion is a great way to show our partners that we care about player engagement on their websites and the overall promotion of their brands.
