Sports betting media and talent management brand Playmaker announced Monday the expansion of “Playmaker Betting” with new investor Phil Hellmuth, winner of a record fifteen World Series of Poker bracelets

Under the terms of the agreement, collaborative weekly shows will be rolled out over the coming months, including “The Good, The Bad and The Hellmuth”, where Phil will be making his NFL picks with special guests; and “NFL Bad Beat”, where will also be able to look forward to bad luck stories in sports betting.

Video content, podcasting, streaming, events and merchandise are also part of the deal in the short term.

As a poker personality, Hellmuth is the winner of the Main Event of the 1989 World Series of Poker and the Main Event of the 2012 World Series of Poker Europe, as well as a 2007 inductee  to the WSOP’s Poker Hall of Fame.

In an official press release, CCO at Playmaker, David Woodley, said: “We're thrilled to have Phil join us as an investor and are looking forward to creating several series and programs around him and his brand which helps Playmaker continue to bring a unique spin to the sports betting category for our 20 million+ followers".

Phil Hellmuth added: "I am truly excited to join Playmaker as an investor, an advisor, and as a content creator. I have agreed to shoot two weekly shows: "The Good, The Bad, and the Hellmuth NFL Picks" and an "NFL Bad Beat" show”.

Playmaker is currently following an expansion plan that led to the appointment of Genius Sports as the only reseller of its Yardbarker digital advertising inventory brand, in a partnership that is expected to accelerate the relationships Playmaker and Yardbarker have with major bookmakers worldwide.
