Stockholm-based affiliate Leadstar Media is adding a United States branch to one of its marquee international brands, Bookies Bonuses.
This will become the fourth US site in the Leadstar portfolio, joining United Gamblers, BettingScanner, and the recently-created Sportsbooks Online.
BookiesBonuses.com primarily targets bettors in the United Kingdom, but there are individual pages for 15 geographical locations in total.
The new US section will be separate from the rest of the website, and will focus on comparing betting sites and bonuses across the states in which online gambling is legal.
Leadstar co-founder and COO Oscar Carlsson is optimistic about the company’s increased presence in North America, and believes Bookies Bonuses is the perfect platform to take their growth to the next level. “We already have multiple US affiliate sites but we feel that now is the right time to bring one of our most recognisable brands to the American market,” said Carlsson. “Bookies Bonuses is one of the best sites of its kind in the UK, and we will be looking to replicate that success by creating a similar structure in the US, albeit with some subtle differences.”
The launch will see Bookies Bonuses become the second Leadstar brand to have separate websites for different countries on the same domain.
My Betting Sites, which went live in 2019, targets nine countries and counting, and Carlsson believes that the site has helped the affiliate deliver better and faster results for its partners because of the overall strength of the product.
“We have entered competitive markets such as Canada, India, Australia, and South Africa, and by doing so through My Betting Sites, we’ve given ourselves a headstart in terms of establishing authority,” he said. “That is one of the reasons we’re looking to launch this next US project on a domain in which we have already demonstrated a high level of quality and expertise.
“The main categories within online betting that we wanted to focus on next in the US aligned perfectly with what we already have with Bookies Bonuses in the UK, so it made perfect sense to move forward in this manner,” Carlsson added.
Bookies Bonuses has been online since 2009, and has cemented itself within the betting sites and betting offers categories.
Cheltenham Festival and the Grand National were important periods, but Director of Products Jacob Ljunggren anticipates an even busier time over the coming weeks as Euro 2020 takes centre stage.
“We have essentially been preparing for this tournament for 18 months,” said Ljunggren. “Everything was in place on Bookies Bonuses before the event was initially cancelled, so we have had plenty of time to optimise the site and we just can’t wait for it to get under way now. A lot of our work and attention has been building towards the Euros, and once it is over, it will roll straight into the launch of Bookies Bonuses US, so there will be no time to sit back and reflect on what we hope will be a very fruitful couple of months.”
