SAGSE Awards honor industry leaders from 2020

Monografie authorities unveiled that 2,356 gaming regulators, operators, executives, and entrepreneurs from Latin America, the United States, and Europe, have participated in the selection of the SAGSE Awards 2020's winners.

According to Alan Burak, Vice President of Monografie, the number of participants has exceeded their expectations: "The initiative enjoyed remarkable success and absolute commitment from industry members, with a record number of votes in this first edition of the SAGSE Awards.

The results were unveiled on Wednesday within the framework of SAGSE Powered by Play'n GO at the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo racetrack.

"The ongoing pandemic and an increased need to support an industry severely hit in 2020 might explain these unprecedented numbers," he added. "We registered a record number of votes in these open and democratic elections through which the local industry chose the best market leaders in their categories."

In spite of the huge challenges that land-based and online operators, suppliers, and regulators have faced, the whole industry has proved that it knows how to seize the opportunities to navigate through this crisis," Burak continued.

The SAGSE Awards 2020 recognized last year’s most outstanding players, which have led the industry’s journey towards recovery.
