Canada: SIGA casinos set to reopen on July 9

With the green light given to casino openings, the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) announced that all seven of their casinos are set to re-open at 6 p.m. on July 9.

In accordance with Tuesday's latest Phase Four Re-Open Saskatchewan announcement, casinos will be allowed to re-open in the province, the News-Optimistic reports. Gold Eagle Casino in North Battleford is one of the seven SIGA casinos that will re-open at that time.

According to a company news release, SIGA will start up in a reduced capacity in adherence of public health guidelines. According to SIGA there will be select gaming and food service during this initial phase of reopening; services will gradually be enhanced on demand. 

SIGA will also be doing contact tracing for a period of time. Guests will be required to check-in prior to entering the casino, either with a Players Club card or by providing a name and contact number. All visitors must undergo a screening process prior to entering the casino. Full details can be found at SIGA.ca.

Normal operating hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. for Gold Eagle Casino. Hours for other casinos are as follows: Bear Claw Casino 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.; Living Sky Casino: 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.; Gold Horse Casino: 12 p.m. to 2 a.m; Painted Hand Casino: 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.;Dakota Dunes Casino: 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.; and Northern Lights Casino: 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
