In just a few days —on October 17, at 10:00 a.m.— the special panel “Sports Betting in Latin America: 'Let’s Talk about the Promised Land' will be taking place. The event, organized by the Global Gaming Expo and Yogonet, is part of G2E’s Latin American VIP Program.

The discussion panel will be held in Spanish, on October 17 at 10 a.m. at the Veronese 2405, in Sand Expo, where G2E is taking place. Participants include Víctor Araneda, Director of International Business Development at Gaming1; Juan Ignacio Juanena, international consultant and Business Manager, interactive gaming at Enjoy; JD Duarte, CEO of Betcris and Gonzalo Pérez, CEO of Apuesta Total (Peru). Serving as the moderator of the discussion will be Pablo Zuppi, Director, Latam Editor & Partner at Yogonet.com.

According to the organizers, the panel aims to analyze the main markets in Latin America as well as the different regulatory processes taking place in the region. Colombia, being the largest regulated market in the region, will be explored, as well as Brazil, which has made the first steps to allow wagers on sporting events, and Argentina where the licensing processes in the City and Province of Buenos Aires —the country’s main jurisdictions— are currently facing some difficulties. Finally, Peru’s operation will be discussed together with the challenges posed by potential new markets such as Uruguay, Panama, Mexico, Chile and Paraguay, among others.

This panel is part of the Latin American VIP Program, a free, executive program organized this year by Reed Exhibitions exclusively tailored for the region’s top visitors. The program will also include an invitation to Executive Talks: Shared Successes Between Global Operators on Wednesday, October 16, a session in which an esteemed panel of casino executives from various style international properties will discuss which trends or new developments are working for their customers. Casino operators will hear and learn about best practices that are working in the Las Vegas and international marketplace, and participate in an interactive Q&A. Following the discussion, the program will offer a G2E Privileges Club Cocktail and Networking Reception and then, the Latin America sports betting panel.

Finally, participants will have access to the exclusive Privileges Club Lounge sponsored by Arrivalist with complimentary food and beverage service.

The tour offered by Global Gaming Expo (G2E) will have a limited capacity for participants and acceptance into the Latin American VIP Program does not guarantee participants will be able to join the Tour, which will take place on Monday, October 14, 2019 from 11:00am - 5:00pm Pacific.
