The discussion panel will be held in Spanish, on October 17 at 10 a.m. at the Veronese 2405, in Sand Expo, where G2E is taking place. Participants include Víctor Araneda, Director of International Business Development at Gaming1; Juan Ignacio Juanena, international consultant and Business Manager, interactive gaming at Enjoy; JD Duarte, CEO of Betcris and Gonzalo Pérez, CEO of Apuesta Total (Peru). Serving as the moderator of the discussion will be Pablo Zuppi, Director, Latam Editor & Partner at Yogonet.com.
According to the organizers, the panel aims to analyze the main markets in Latin America as well as the different regulatory processes taking place in the region. Colombia, being the largest regulated market in the region, will be explored, as well as Brazil, which has made the first steps to allow wagers on sporting events, and Argentina where the licensing processes in the City and Province of Buenos Aires —the country’s main jurisdictions— are currently facing some difficulties. Finally, Peru’s operation will be discussed together with the challenges posed by potential new markets such as Uruguay, Panama, Mexico, Chile and Paraguay, among others.
This panel is part of the Latin American VIP Program, a free, executive program organized this year by Reed Exhibitions exclusively tailored for the region’s top visitors. It includes a private tour of three Las Vegas casinos, a Club Cocktail and Networking Reception and the special panel on sports betting in LatAm, curated by Yogonet.com.
