Pariplay partners with Svenska Spel Sport & Casino for Swedish release of ‘Viking Glory’

Pariplay, a gaming technology company serving iGaming operators, land-based casinos and lotteries, announced Wednesday the Swedish release of its Viking Glory online slot via an exclusive partnership with Svenska Spel Sport & Casino.

Pariplay and Svenska Spel Sport & Casino initially partnered in May for a deal that has seen Pariplay share its full game catalog with the operator, affording Swedish players the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of titles. The state-owned operator, which has dominated Sweden’s regulated market since its January 1st go-live date, offers an array of products that include sportsbook, casino, and bingo.

Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, which has enjoyed steady growth since market regulation in January, has displayed a proficiency for engaging Sweden’s diverse target audience. In its H1 reporting for 2019, the operator boasted a 5% year-on-year revenue increase, attributing growth to the launch of new online casino and horse race betting products. At the group level, the Sport & Casino sector helped Svenska Spel achieve 14% growth in its digital business, while mobile sales increased by over 21% for the period.
