Bo Guidry will be responsible for all operations and management of the integrated resort, which will debut its $1.5 billion expansion on Thursday, Oct. 24.

The casino announced Wednesday that Bo Guidry has been named President of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. He is replacing Auggie Cipollini, who has been promoted to the position of president of Seminole Hard Rock Support Services.

Guidry was most recently senior vice president and general manager of Horseshoe Council Bluffs and Harrah’s Council Bluffs Hotel & Casino, both located in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  With a combined team of 1,200 employees, the two casino complexes were owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment Corporation.

Guidry managed the two casinos in Council Bluffs for 10 years and was responsible for strategic direction and daily operations.  During that time, he also managed Mid-America Center for the City of Council Bluffs. Mid-America Center is an arena and convention center complex.

The casino has confirmed that it will be opening its glass-clad 450-foot tall guitar-shaped hotel tower, which rises above the resort on October 24. The new hotel tower is just one part of the $1.5 billion improvements currently in the works in Hollywood, but it is already being used as part of a broader marketing push for Hard Rock casinos.
