Pennsylvania slot machine revenue shows modest increase in May

Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has posted on its website the monthly report for total gross revenue and tax revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during May 2018.

According to the governmental agency's report, the combined gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 casinos in May of this year was $203,993,259, 0.4% higher than the May 2017 gross revenue figure of $203,248,176.

Gross slot machine revenue for each of the casinos is as follows, with the percentage change reflected over the previous year:

Tax revenue in May of this year was $106,415,748.*

The average number of slot machines operating throughout Pennsylvania was 25,840 in May 2018 compared to 26,092 in May 2017.

*Tax revenue figures reflect amount generated prior to any adjustments by the PA Department of Revenue
