The average number of slot machines operating on a daily basis at the 12 state casinos was 25,808 during January 2018 compared to 26,254 at the casinos in January 2017.

According to an analysis posted on their website on Monday this week, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has announced the monthly report for total revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during January 2018.

Their figures show that January's gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 state casinos was $177,795,127, a 1.4% decrease in revenue when compared to the $180,304,670 generated in January 2017. Tax revenue in January of this year was $92,644,953.

The average number of slot machines operating on a daily basis was 25,808 during January 2018 compared to 26,254 at the casinos in January 2017.
