Gauselmann Group gains Brian Meacher for South African business

In his position as Managing Director of Merkur Gaming Africa Brian Meacher will both further consolidate the market position of the Gauselmann Group as well as develop new sales potentials.

Africa is at present the continent that is growing the quickest in the world and is a significant market for the gaming industry. The Gauselmann Group has been active for several years in South Africa through a distribution partner and now expands this commitment with Merkur Gaming Africa as an autonomous sales company. The licensing process for South Africa is to be stepped up under the leadership of Brian Meacher. This applies to both the casino as the LPM (bar and pub) sectors.

Brian Meacher is known as a true great in his field of work. He made a name for himself – amongst others – as business manager at Africa's largest tourism, leisure and gaming group for which he worked 17 years. He most recently worked for a well-known casino chain in South Africa being responsible for the business development and operations.
