Arizona: JCM installs ICB Intelligent Cash Box system at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino

JCM Global has completed the installation of its ICB Intelligent Cash Box system across all 1,150 slot machines and video poker terminals at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Hotel and Casino in Phoenix, Arizona.

The deployment expands the existing relationship between JCM and Harrah’s Ak-Chin, where the casino floor’s electronic gaming machines are equipped exclusively with JCM’s iVIZION bill validator technology.

According to JCM, the ICB system is designed to streamline the cash drop process by reducing manual intervention and removing seven common points of human error tied to drop operations.

The system is currently installed on more than 286,000 electronic gaming machines across the United States.

JCM said the ICB platform is intended to increase efficiency and accuracy in drop and count procedures while supporting compliance processes. The system also provides operational monitoring tools, including bill validator metrics, customizable web-based reporting, and maintenance planning functions.

The technology can help reduce annual operating expenses by automating parts of the drop process and increasing visibility into cash handling operations.
