SOFTSWISS has introduced two new features to its Sportsbook product aimed at improving the betting experience for cryptocurrency users and players in regions with unreliable internet connectivity.
Through Fiat Display, cryptocurrency players can now choose to view account balances, bet amounts, and potential winnings in a fiat currency of their choice, while continuing to place bets in digital assets.
The feature changes only how values are displayed on screen and does not affect betting transactions or back-office reporting. Exchange rates are shown in the site header and update automatically every 10 minutes. Operators can configure the feature through the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook content management system and select which fiat currencies are available to players.
The update is designed to help cryptocurrency users better understand the value of their bets and potential returns by presenting figures in more familiar fiat currency terms.
The company also launched Lite Mode for its mobile Sportsbook application, targeting players with slow or unstable internet connections.
When enabled, Lite Mode loads core sportsbook functions with simplified visuals and reduced background activity, allowing key screens to open faster and remain functional in conditions where the standard version may experience delays.
The feature can help operators maintain player engagement in markets where mobile network infrastructure remains inconsistent.
"With the FIFA World Cup 2026 drawing attention from millions of fans worldwide, every interaction matters. Players expect a fast and clear experience from the moment they open an app or place a bet. Product improvements that remove friction can have a direct impact on how effectively operators convert interest into long-term engagement," Victor Sekushenko, Head of Sales at SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, said.
Both features are now available to operators through the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook platform.
The launch follows the company's recent introduction of its Prediction Markets Platform, a fixed-odds business-to-business solution that allows operators to offer event-based wagering across politics, economics, technology and culture.
The product is available as a standalone iFrame widget or through direct integration with the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook.
