Olympic Entertainment Group to open largest casino at InterContinental Hotel
For the Malta operations, subsidiaries OEG Malta Holding Limited and OEG Malta Gaming Limited have been established in Malta. OEG owns directly or through subsidiaries 100% of the Maltese subsidiaries’ shares. OEG Malta subsidiary has concluded an agreement for the provision of casino management services and related service to Maltese company Casino Malta Ltd. and associated companies.
As part of the transaction, OEG will acquire through the OEG Malta Holding Limited subsidiary one preferred share of Casino Malta Ltd. However, the preferred share does not confer the right to vote. OEG will invest up to €7 million in the establishment of the new casino. The Group’s largest casino, with nearly 2,700m² , will open in the second half of 2015 at the Malta InterContinental Hotel as the Casino Malta by Olympic Casino. The country’s newest gaming venue will feature more than 250 slots and nearly 30 casino and poker tables, as well as sports betting and bar area.
