(US).- The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has announced that online poker revenue in the state fell again in June, marking the third consecutive month of decline. The three regulated online poker operators in the US state brought in just over USD 2 million (1.5 million euros) in June, which is down approximately 9.9 percent compared to the USD 2.3 million generated in May.

June also proved to be the least successful month since online poker become regulated in New Jersey last year, with revenue in the month US$ 300,000 lower than in the previous lowest month of May this year. The three-month decline in online poker revenue represents a 36.2% drop.

Overall, online gaming in New Jersey fell 9.2% from US$ 10.5 million in May to US$ 9.5 million in June.

Despite suffering a 0.55% fall, the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, combined with the PartyPoker internet poker brand of its online gaming operator bwin.party, is still the market leader in New Jersey with 52.5% of total state online poker revenue.
