With introduction of new Colombian regulator, FADJA moves forward its 14th edition

(Colombia, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Two weeks left for the begining of the Andean Games of Chance Event in Corferias, José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of 3A Producciones, organizer of the Colombian show, granted an interview to Yogonet. He highlighted the presentation of COLUEGOS, which will be in charge of its President, Dr. Rodrigo Vélez Jara, and the online presence that the event will have on Internet, among other issues.

Considering the frame that the creation of COLJUEGOS offers both for exhibitors and visitors, Which are the expectations for FADJA two weeks left for its development?
Benefits are still to come, but they are not measurable. Concluding November 2011, the Colombian government created COLJUEGOS, the new regulatory entity that counts with a visible management, willing to work hard for the improvement of the industry and with the aim to improve collection from us$ 224,115 to us$ 1.1 million a year in taxes allocated to the health of Colombian citizens. For exhibitors, manufacturers and distributors, the expectations are huge, as well as for operators.

Exhibitors expect the arrival of legal requirement of the online interconnection in real time of the operation of localized games. COLJUEGOS will have to regulate its implementation and define the deadlines in which all the technical adaptations must be made for the development of this interconnecting information system which will equal the technology and the control that regulate the industry in many countries.
With regards to operators, new prospects are opened, in which they will have to play acquiring equipment according to the developments demanded. They will have to abandon old operating systems if they want to compete in a changing market. So they will be able to see their business grow with confidence and within the frame of the law.

The implementation process of the online control systems and the need of replacement of around 80,000 machines will help improve the quality standards of the operation in Colombia. The important industry of the Andean Region must become protagonist of the whole change that is about to start.
 
What companies will participate as exhibitors for the first time, which return to the show and which ones continue exhibiting there?
The following firms will debut at the event: Professional Computer, Casino Stereo, Starlight Sign, Codelux, DRGT, Diminter & Visionary i-Gaming, Dollarobet, Grupo Gana, Suramericana de Juegos, Holguines Comunicaciones, Spintec, SIQ, FutureLogic, Industrias Cattan, Japay, Talaris, Teecee Technologies and Zuum D.O.O. IGT, Merkur, Boss Gaming, Novomatic and GLI return to FADJA after an absense of one or two years. 
Once more, the following exhibitors will be present: Mundo Video, Bally Technologies, Spielo, WMS, Kupidon, Gold Club, Odrex, Inspired Gaming Group, PMV, R. Franco, Ainsworth Game Technology, APC Slots, Automated Transactions, Belatra, CDM Equipos, CN Cortar, DIP Diseño, El Espartano, Gatel - Aristocrat, Gemaco, Hanco, ICT, IRT, JVL Gaming, Legendary Gaming Group, MEI Group, Money Controls a Division of Crane Payment Solution, Paula Ltda. and TransAct Technology, among others.
 
What will the academic conferences consist of?
The Andean Games of Chance Event, through its strategic Alliance with the communications firm Greata Limited, representative of the site of the industry Casino Compendium, will be organizing the academic component of FADJA 2012. Within the event, the adacemic conferences will be held in the hall of the Protocol of the International Business and Exhibition Center Corferias in Bogota.

The conference program has attracted the interest of exhibitors, operators and members of the associations, both national and international. The conferences will be opened with the formal presentation of COLJUEGOS before the Colombian games of chance industry, in charge of Rodrigo Vélez Jara, its President. Then, Roger Tomas will be speaker of a successful conference called  “The 4 P marketing for casinos”.

We will also have a roundtable of homologation labs and a talk about modern technology for casinos and gambling halls with innovative products and systems. We will conclude with issue dedicated to operations in the Latin American gaming industry, including online systems and social responsibility.

What role will social networks and Internet have in the interaction of FADJA with its exhibitors and visitors?
Social networks have acquired en enormous importance for the organization in the last two years, @FADJA_COLOMBIA in Twitter and the group and page in Facebook, FADJA, are a proven tool to be closer to exhibitors and buyers, and to have a more interactive relationship.

The Andean Games of Chance Event will have virtual coverage, which will be valid in a permanent way on the page of the company Virtual Step (www.virtualstep.com), which will do this task with a link on www.fadja.com. This technological progress will allow the visualization of FADJA booths in Internet, and will let people see and listen to the interviews with exhibitors and see 360º general panoramics of the event. Another important novelty in this edition will be the transmission via streaming, throught Internet, live, during the whole competition. The developer of this component of communications will be the firm BM Concepto.
 
Which is the contribution of an event such as Miss Gaming Colombia, which is now in its second edition, for an event like FADJA?
The second edition of Miss Gaming Colombia, with the most beautiful representatives of the casinos in the country, will ratify again that FADJA as the most productive and fun event in the region. The beauty of the Colombian woman and the main aim of this contest, directed to the support of people in vulnerable conditions, please us enormously.

As organizers, What goals do you plan to reach this year?
The main aim is to achieve the satisfaction of the national and international exhibitors that will participate in the event, bringing technological and logistic facilities that enable a business Summit so the companies can grow day after day. With the visitors-buyers, our aim is to offer them a complete trade show according to their needs, with a varied offer of products and services.
