What products did Konami decide to showcase this year at G2E Asia?
A wide variety of video and stepper product including 5 reel and 3 reel Advantage Revolution. Beat the Field community link was s highlight and is available with a mix of video and stepper base games. Beat the Field features an interactive horse race which offers players the chance to race against each other for a jackpot prize. The Rock Around the Clock themed stepper bank created a lot of attention along with rotating screen on Advantage Revolution.

Which was the feedback received by visitors or clients during the show?
The feedback was very positive and optimistic about the regions trends.

Did you have the chance to meet operators from different Asian markets?
We did and it’s great for operators from other locations see the availability of product from all the manufacturers on hand.

How did you see the show this year? Was it in line of your expectations? Was it a positive presentation for Konami?
It was certainly a positive presentation from Konami. It’s been some time since we have been able to display a product mix with the depth of this year’s display. Recent openings in other countries have also given the show more weight.

Recent statistics state that Macau is currently the biggest gaming market in the world. Do you agree? How do you see Macau's market?
Absolutely, Macau is a powerhouse and whilst the Chinese economy continues to thrive, it’s hard to see Macau heading any other way than forward.

How important is Macau in particular and Asia in general for Konami within its international business plan?
It’s a large part of our business plan and an area. We have begun to increase our focus. There are a few fundamental peculiarities in the market which we have addressed to ensure we can be successful in the long term.
