In the first half of 2010, selected points of sale hosted the pilot stage of the competition for providers to promote the sales of the Diamant (Diamond) instant lottery tickets. The competition application was developed by Gtech according to SAZKA’s specifications. The application enables the terminal operating personnel to obtain a confirmation every time they attain certain number of lottery tickets sold; this confirmation entitles them to take part in a draw to win attractive financial prizes.
Given the application parameters, the competitions for providers and terminal operating personnel can be held on a national or regional basis, in a selected network segment depending on the type of establishment, for all or selected products, and using various evaluation criteria. For the future, SAZKA envisages the use of the application not only for instant lotteries but also for number lotteries and, where appropriate, for other products and services that the company offers.
Another project that SAZKA is preparing in this area will be the loyalty scheme for its business partners – providers. Thus, just like customers who use lottery and non-lottery services, the members of the loyalty scheme from among providers will gain access to a number of benefits, including complementary rewards, a bonus point account for purchases, or participation in various marketing campaigns held exclusively for members of the loyalty club.
