The legal instance expressed its concern due to the possibility that, in these casinos and draws, the access is “hurt by possible criminal act,” before the existence of an inadequate regulation and poor surveillance.
It said that the Federal Games and Draws Law is overtaken and that has allowed the proliferation of illegal gambling venues, and besides, it does not plan advances and technological innovations on the matter.
"This huge void to apply and control the gaming technology is precisely what worries us, because the public and private sector apply norms based on their own legal interpretation to guarantee the player’s security,” he added.
The Permanent Commission said that this legal interpretation "hinders the supply of services by gambling venues, submitting suppliers in an attempt of trying to comply with empty precepts in the law”.
In case we keep on allowing those norms to continue to be in force, we will be forcing, in the everyday life, a bigger number of gambling venues to operate under their own rules, and not according to a regulation or law, it warned.
Legislators affirmed that activities connected to illegal games and draws seem to be growing, despite the Law of Games and Draws bans the installation of games of any kind, without the permission of the Secretary of the Interior.
