Italian bingo halls increase their sales a 31% in July
During June, the bingo obtained 144 million euros, 3 more than, for example, horse races. The same quantity than in February, for the rest of the year, the figures have been superior (January, 177; March, 161; April, 159 and May, 163). The whole game received 4,700 million euros. Modalities such as Lotterie concentrated 400 million euros and skill games, 246.
Bingo collected a 3,06% of the total of the profitability of the gaming sector. Final collection of the gaming sub-sectors during the first six months of 2010 confirms the positive trend (14.07%) compared to the same period in 2009.
No doubt the bingo tax reform has contributed to improve the casino results, a great improvement due to the years of recession that the industry has suffered.
