PartyGaming founder sells us$ 169.7 million stake

(UK).- One of the founders of online gambling company Partygaming, Anurag Dikshit, has sold his remaining stake in the company, the Dail Mail reported last week.

Dikshit's sale of 38.8 million shares generated us$ 169.7 million for his charity, the Kusuma Trust, The Daily Mail said. Partygaming is currently engaged in talks on a possible merger, the report noted.

He paid a us$ 300 million fine to the US, and has a December sentencing date, for admitting to running illegal online gambling sites taking US customers.

Dikshit had previously unloaded about two-thirds of his PartyGaming stock in October. The sale of his remaining ownership, comprising over 9 % of the company, brought him about us$ 170 million.
