Transact receives us$ 3.6 million order from lottery customer
(US).- TransAct Technologies Incorporated announced that the company has received a us$ 3.6 million purchase order from its largest lottery customer for its thermal lottery printers.

The shipment of printers will begin in the middle of the third quarter of 2009, with the majority of printers to be shipped in the fourth quarter of 2009.
"We are very pleased to receive this large order for our thermal lottery printer," said Bart C. Shuldman, Chairman, President and CEO of TransAct Technologies.
"Along with our recently announced us$ 4.9 million banking printer win, this order continues to build our backlog for the second half of 2009," Shuldman added.
